Our client, an international manufacturer who is renowned for its well-known household brands, is currently on the look‑out for a Maintenance Electrician to join their team. - You would be working across a wide range of equipment – Conveyors, robotics, packaging lines, fillers, drives, flow wrappers, cappers, pumps and valves etc.
Job details:
- Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site.
- Be the first point of contact when breakdowns occur. Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimise downtime.
- Identify and support initiatives to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co‑ordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
- Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Engineering skills obtained by a time‑served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3)
- Previous experience within a fast‑paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment (Essential).
- Strong fault‑finding capabilities.
- PLC fault‑finding experience.
- Familiar with packaging lines, drives, conveyors, rotating machinery, pumping equipment and valves.
- Competent in safe working procedures.

- Salary: £53,600 (annual pay review)
