Part time Receptionist/Administrators

Location: Banbury

Salary: £24,000 per annum pro‑rate (£13.18 per hour)

Hours: Monday to Friday – 9am to 1pm or 1pm to 5pm, 20 hours per week on a job‑share basis.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming visitors by telephone and in person by appointment and walk‑ins
  • Providing administration support to fee earners (audio typing, photocopying, scanning)
  • Answering and transferring telephone calls
  • Logging all visitors to the reception
  • Verifying and scanning anti‑money laundering documents
  • Scanning and sorting post for all departments
  • Preparing files for closing and archiving
  • Electronic archiving of completed matters
  • Handling online enquiries
  • Taking bookings for meeting rooms across all offices

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or administrator in a professional services environment (e.g., law firm, estate agents, accountants, surveyors)
  • Experience using telephone systems and transferring calls
  • Good keyboard skills and proficiency in Outlook and Word
  • Experience with Excel and legal case‑management systems preferred but not essential
  • A friendly, welcoming manner with patience and empathy towards clients
  • A flexible attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
