Contract – £19.40 per hour

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Tester role at Liverpool City Council (LCC).

The ERP Tester will be responsible for delivering ERP testing across HR, Payroll, Finance & Procurement areas, working with functional teams and the System Implementation (SI) team to develop test scripts and manage resources for each testing phase.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the overall testing strategy, ensuring planned tests cover critical business processes and integration points; develop detailed test scripts that accurately reflect business requirements.
• Execute tests according to the defined scripts.
• Identify, log, and track defects to resolution, collaborating with LCC and SI teams to ensure timely fixes.
• Support resource management through UAT to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, scripts, results, defect reports, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders on testing progress and outcomes.
• Demonstrate experience in non‑functional testing (performance, security, and accessibility testing).

Work schedule: 2 days in the central office and 3 days remote.
