We are looking to recruit a Senior Structural Design Engineer responsible for the following… To design, analyse, and deliver safe, efficient, and compliant structural engineering solutions that support project objectives, meet client requirements, and adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations. The Structural Engineer is responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, buildability, and cost-effectiveness of projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines and budgets. Develop design ideas using current industry software; Ensure that projects meet legal guidelines, environmental directives, and health and safety requirements; Maintain quality service by following company standards; Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks; Robust knowledge of structural mechanics and engineering principles, Excellent design calculation capabilities and experience of using sector-related software packages such as Tekla Structural Designer (Fastrak Building Designer), Fastrak Portal Frame, Masterframe / STAAD PRO, Masterseries Connections etc.. Extensive experience in working within a structural design role, preferably also with experience in connection design.
