Support Worker – Eccles Road

Salary: £10,670.50 per annum (FTE £25,342.44 per annum). Hours: 16 hours per week. Shifts start from 8:30am to 9pm with sleep‑ins required. Reference: ECR008.

Located in a quiet residential area of Ipswich, Eccles Road provides tailored support for individuals with Learning Disabilities, empowering them to live independently and confidently.

What you’ll be doing:

• Offer personalised support including personal care, medication assistance, household tasks, and tenancy management.
• Work closely with the team to support tenants to live confidently and independently.
• Show empathy, creativity, and encouragement, helping tenants take positive risks that promote growth and independence.
• Ensure each tenant feels listened to and respected, with genuine choice in their day‑to‑day lives.
• Keep accurate, up‑to‑date records in line with CQC standards and Orwell policies.
• Build positive, inclusive working relationships with tenants, families, colleagues, and external professionals.

Person Specification:

• Care Certificate desirable.
• QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, desirable.
• A full driving licence desirable but not essential.
