Forklift Driver – Temporary – Newport – £12.98 per hour

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver for our client based in Newport. Immediate starts are available following a successful interview process.

Your role as a Forklift Driver

• Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
• Loading and unloading vehicles using forklift equipment
• Transporting goods to and from storage areas
• Assisting with picking orders using manual pick sheets when required
• Handling items weighing between 15-25kg where necessary
• Performing quality control checks on goods
• Booking items in and out of the warehouse accurately
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace

Requirements

• Valid and in-date Forklift Licence (Counterbalance or Reach preferred)
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures related to forklift use
• Good level of English and communication skills
• Ability to complete basic stock checks and documentation accurately
• Physically fit and capable of supporting manual handling when required
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Available to work part-time weekday shifts

Pay & Shifts

• £12.98 per hour
• Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:00
