Housing Support Worker

Ashberry Recruitment is looking for a temporary full‑time Project Worker in Manchester. The role supports clients within the service, providing assistance and ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a small team.
• Carry out client needs and risk assessment for all referrals.
• Support tenants through individual resettlement support plans.
• Ensure clients comply with their tenancy agreement.
• Advise clients with welfare rights, budgeting, employment, education and training.
• Liaise with housing agencies to secure suitable move‑on accommodation for tenants.
• Develop links with the local community.
• Maintain accurate communication systems.
• Maintain Health and Safety incident and accident records.
• Adhere to agreed organisational policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Check.
• Proven track record of providing information, advice and guidance to clients.
• Basic IT knowledge suitable for an office environment.
• Basic housing management knowledge, including rent collection, tenancy agreements and arrears management.
• Driver’s licence and access to own vehicle with business insurance (mileage paid).
• Immediate availability preferred.
