Responsibilities

As a Bank Support Worker, you will support children and young people in care by:

  • Working closely with children and young people in care, creating positive relationships and safeguarding them.
  • Managing a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
  • Assisting with the care of children and young people, supporting them in all aspects of their lives including activities, hobbies and educational pursuits.
  • Creating timetables, setting boundaries and expectations, and maintaining consistency and organisation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum age of 22 years to meet Ofsted regulations.
  • Valid manual driving licence.
  • Care, compassion and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Calmness in challenging situations.
  • Previous experience not essential; comprehensive induction and ongoing training provided.
