Forklift Material Handler Operative

Apply today to work as a Forklift Material Handler Operative for our client, a global partner in sustainable packaging solutions. Staffline is recruiting Forklift Material Handler Operatives in Tamworth. The rate of pay is £14.66 per hour. This is a part‑time role working 32 hours per week. You will work a fixed shift pattern on either the A or B shift:

• A Shift – Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 06:00am to 14:00pm then 06:00am‑18:00pm and 06:00am‑18:00pm
• B Shift – Saturday, Sunday, Monday – 2 x 12‑hour shifts and 1 x 8‑hour shift: 06:00am‑18:00pm and 06:00am‑18:00pm then 06:00am‑14:00pm

Responsibilities

• Deliveries unloaded and scanned into the right areas. Loads are tonne bags of grained products, as well as bagged goods to 25kg and palletised bagged goods.
• Wrapping pallets of completed moulded plastic goods, removing from production lines and rotating pallets, including labelling and loading for delivery.
• Stocktaking and locating stock in store areas, finding and tendering stock to production machines, then unloading via machinery and plant into hoppers and silos.
• Using scanners and paperwork to ensure stock inventory and locations are accurate.

PPE required: safety boots, hi‑viz vest, ear protection and safety glasses. All are supplied and must be worn throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Must have an in‑date forklift counterbalance licence.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Physically fit to lift up to 25 kg.
