Fund Operations Associate – Fund Operations / Custody / Asset Servicing

Manchester Hybrid (4 days onsite)

We are currently hiring Fund Operations Associates to join a leading global financial services organisation in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 1-3 years’ experience in financial services operations who are looking to build a long-term career in fund operations, custody, and investment servicing.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting daily fund transaction processing across investment products
  • Assisting with reconciliations, settlements, and cash break resolution
  • Supporting corporate actions and fund lifecycle events
  • Maintaining operational accuracy and control checks
  • Working closely with internal teams to resolve client and operational queries
  • Contributing to process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

We’re looking for:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in fund operations, custody, asset servicing, or investment operations
  • Exposure to reconciliations, settlements, or trade processing
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Excel (lookups, pivots preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • Experience within banking, asset management, or financial services operations

Desirable (not essential):

  • Fund administration or transfer agency exposure
  • Corporate actions or securities lifecycle understanding
  • Reconciliation tools or investment platforms

Additional requirements:

  • Must have full, unrestricted right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available now or in future)
  • Comfortable working 4 days onsite in Manchester
  • Strong motivation to develop a career in fund operations / investment servicing
