Wandsworth – September start – Contract.

  • Implement personalised strategies to support engagement, communication and emotional regulation
  • 1:1 SEN Support Assistant will work closely with teaching staff, parents and external agencies
  • Support the pupil both within lessons and during unstructured times throughout the school day
  • Help create a positive, structured and nurturing learning environment
  • Monitor progress and contribute towards SEND support plans
  • 1:1 SEN Support Assistant applicants should have previous experience supporting children with SEND
  • Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, patience and adaptability are essential
  • 1:1 SEN Support Assistant candidates should be proactive, resilient and passionate about supporting young people
  • A background in Psychology, Education or a related field would be advantageous
