C/B FLT & Loader – Night Shift

Overview

Temp to Perm role at a busy Leeds warehouse and distribution company. Pay: £13.01p/hr (£31,119 pa). Works nights (6 pm‑6 am), 12‑hour shifts, 4 days per week on a rotating weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Load HGVs and curtain siders with stock by FLT and by hand
• Operate from manifests and pick sheets
• Move stock around the warehouse and prepare stock for deliveries
• Wrap and label pallets of stock
• Observe all health and safety procedures throughout the warehouse
• Perform general warehouse duties as required

Qualifications

• Valid in‑date C/B FLT licence (licence not provided by the employer)
• Previous loading or unloading experience is essential
• Ability to work at a fast pace for extended periods
• Comfortable working both on and off the FLT
• Experience working from manifests and pick sheets
• Physically fit with the strength to lift and move heavy items
• Able to work independently and on own initiative
• Positive attitude and willingness to work hard
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team player who works well within a team environment

Shift pattern: Week 1 – Sun, Mon, Wed, Thu; Week 2 – Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat. The pattern repeats throughout the year.

Pay: £31,199 pa (£13.01p/hr).
