Location: London – Farrington / Chancery Lane.

Schedule: Monday to Friday.

Salary: £33,600 plus paid overtime.

Job Description

• Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head/sous chef, ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
• Station Management – oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station, keep the area stocked and clean, and ensure all kitchen equipment remains in good working order.
• Quality Control – maintain high quality standards for all dishes, including presentation and taste.
• Team Collaboration – communicate effectively with other team members, assist and support colleagues where necessary.
• Menu Development – collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes, offering suggestions for improvement and innovation.
• Cleaning and Maintenance – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring general hygiene and housekeeping standards are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to the core values of BaxterStorey.
