With 354 bedrooms, award-winning food and drink outlets and an electric energy, Sea Containers London is a destination where glamour meets brutalism – and it’s your London anchor on the River Thames.We’re looking for a passionate and talented Senior Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team and play a key role in delivering outstanding food and service every day.What You’ll Be DoingAs a Senior Chef de Partie, you’ll take ownership of your section, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene are consistently maintained. Working closely with the Sous Chefs and Head Chef, you’ll help drive quality, mentor junior team members, and contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen culture.Key responsibilities include:Managing your section during service and ensuring smooth operationsPreparing and presenting dishes to the highest standardsWorking confidently with open-fire cooking techniques and equipmentSupporting the training and development of junior chefsMaintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standardsAssisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising wasteContributing ideas and supporting menu development where appropriateWhat We’re Looking ForPrevious experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-volume, quality-led restaurant or hotelProven experience working with open-fire cooking, charcoal grills, wood-fired ovens, or similar live-fire conceptsStrong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and kitchen operationsA passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and exceptional food qualityExcellent organisational and communication skillsA positive attitude and team-focused approachThe ability to remain calm and perform under pressure during busy servicesSalary: £39,056 p/a + service charge, plus benefitsAt Sea Containers London we are committed to giving our employees the skills and support required to deliver extraordinary experiences, and most importantly, to grow in their careers.
