About the role


St Mary’s CE Primary School is looking to appoint a full‑time SEND Hub Lead Teacher: Communication and Interaction Hub. The role involves leading, managing, delivering, and coordinating daily teaching, planning, assessment and pastoral care for pupils with communication and interaction needs, and managing Hub provision. The Leader will work closely with the main school SENDCo, report to the Headteacher, and liaise with local authorities and external agencies to support pupils’ learning and pastoral needs.


Key responsibilities



  • Lead, manage and deliver the SEND Hub provision for pupils with communication and interaction needs.

  • Coordinate daily teaching, planning, assessment and pastoral care.

  • Collaborate with the main school SENDCo and report to the Headteacher.

  • Liaise with local authorities and external agencies throughout consultation and support processes.

Salary and contract


Annual salary: £32,916 – £49,232 (M1 to M6/ UP2). Full‑time, permanent contract. Approximate start date: 1 September 2026.
