Working Pattern: Term Time Only + 1 Week

Actual Salary: £22,471 – £22,828

Teaching Assistant Level 1+ Vacancy

Oak Haven School is a nurturing, inclusive, and specialist SEMH setting for Key Stage 2 to 4 learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Our mission is to provide a safe, empowering environment where every young person is supported to Empower, Heal, and Thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the Class Teacher and fellow Teaching Assistants.
  • Support learners with social, emotional, and mental health needs in class and during breaktimes.
  • Provide compassionate, proactive, and enthusiastic support to students.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 or GCSE (level 9-4, A-C or equivalent) in English and Maths, or be prepared to work towards these qualifications.
  • QCF Level 2 in Teaching and Learning, or be prepared to work towards this qualification.
