CAD Technician (Great Training)

Salary: GBP30,000 – GBP35,000 per annum + Progression, Training

A niche manufacturer of ventilation products and sheet‑metal projects, experiencing continued growth and looking for a CAD Technician to join a close‑knit team.

Role Overview

Provide 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Solidworks for a variety of bespoke projects. Coordinate with manufacturing, workshop teams, and clients to deliver high‑quality designs.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D and 3D CAD drawings for bespoke ventilation and sheet‑metal projects.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, workshop teams, and customers to clarify requirements and ensure design feasibility.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and file naming conventions.
• Assist with design iterations and value engineering to meet client specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with 2D and 3D CAD, preferably using AutoCAD and Solidworks.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Eager to learn and adapt to a new industry.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
