HANDYPERSON / SKILLED LABOURER

RATE OF PAY: £18.00 – £22.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

JOB TYPE: Temporary

DURATION: Long-Term

INDUSTRY: Construction

Working Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Overtime: Opportunities for overtime will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.

The role involves supporting site operations, carrying out general maintenance tasks, assisting trades, undertaking basic carpentry works, and ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently around the project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out general handyperson and skilled labouring duties
• Undertake basic carpentry works and minor repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised site
• Assist tradespeople with daily site activities
• Move materials and equipment around site as required
• Follow instructions from site management
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Support site operations to ensure work progresses efficiently

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid CSCS Card
• Previous experience as a Handyperson, Skilled Labourer, or Multi-Trade Operative
• Basic carpentry skills
• Full PPE
• Own hand tools preferred
• Good work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong awareness of site health and safety procedures
