Role Overview
Teaching Assistant (TA) – 32 hours per week, term time plus one week (39 working weeks per year).
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with special educational needs, encouraging participation and confidence.
- Assist teaching staff in delivering curriculum and creating an engaging classroom environment.
- Help pupils make progress toward their maximum potential and achieve their learning objectives.
- Collaborate closely with teachers to plan, implement, and review lessons.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience in a secondary school setting is advantageous but not essential – full training will be provided.

Employment Conditions
All successful appointments will be subject to suitability checks in accordance with KCSIE, including identity, Right to Work, qualifications, prohibition check, two references and an enhanced DBS check including the Children’s Barred List.
