Post: KS1 Teacher & Year Lead

Location: Hill View Primary, Hill View Road, Bournemouth, BH10 5BD

FTE Salary Range: MPS1 – UPS3 + TLR2A; £32,916 – £51,047 + £3,527

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Contract Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 8am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

We are looking to appoint an excellent Key Stage 1 Teacher with Year Leader responsibilities, who has a determination to ensure that Hill View Primary becomes an outstanding academy.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Extensive experience of KS1 and knowledge of RWI (Read Write Inc) is expected; leadership experience is not essential as training will be available for the right candidates.
  • Passion for teaching and learning to ensure children make great progress.
  • A talented, enthusiastic, creative, self‑motivated, flexible, hard‑working and dynamic teacher with high expectations for yourself and children.
  • Ability to spark children’s curiosity and make learning delightful.
