Salary: £95-£100 per day. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Immediate start.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting students both in the classroom and through a variety of outdoor learning activities. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging educational experience that enables every pupil to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, helping them access learning and achieve their individual goals.
- Assist with lesson delivery, classroom organisation, and the preparation of learning resources.
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day.
- Provide pastoral and practical support, including personal care where required.
- Support learning beyond the classroom through educational visits, outdoor activities, and enrichment opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other specialists to help pupils achieve their EHCP targets and maximise their potential.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in outdoor education, outdoor activities, or similar environments.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEN.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
