Pastry Chef de Partie
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 + service/tips
The pastry chef de partie will cover the pastry section in the kitchen, managing the preparation, readiness, and presentation of pastry items for both restaurant and events. This role reports into the head chef.
Responsibilities
- Prep the pastry section and ensure it is ready for service.
- Prepare pastry items and plate them during service.
- Create new and innovative pastry dishes.
- Run the pastry section at a section level.
- Carry out all normal pastry chef de partie duties.
Experience and Qualifications
- Rosette background or fresh food background.
- Experience at pastry chef de partie level or as a chef de partie with pastry skills and a desire to focus on pastry.
