About the Role – SEND Supply Teachers

Vision for Education Brighton is urgently recruiting passionate and committed SEND Supply Teachers, including Newly Qualified Teachers and ECTs, to work across a variety of specialist and mainstream schools throughout Sussex.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your skills, energy, and enthusiasm into SEND settings where no two days are the same – and where your support can truly change lives. We’re especially keen to hear from teachers who have experience in, or a strong interest in, supporting pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

About the Position

As a SEND Supply Teacher, you’ll have the chance to work across a diverse range of schools, delivering engaging lessons. Some roles will involve planned cover, while others will call on your adaptability, creativity, and problem‑solving skills to meet the needs of different learners on the day. Every placement offers the opportunity to build confidence, inspire learning, and support pupils in reaching their full potential.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Supply Teacher you will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching qualification
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Be available between 1-5 days per week (Monday to Friday)

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • QTS or relevant teaching qualification
