Healthcare Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will need to demonstrate experience working in a healthcare environment dealing with patients.

You will be working 40 hours per week with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in patient preparation
• Chaperoning
• Cannulation
• Positioning of patients on the scanner
• Clinical stock management
• Clinical audits
• Processing patients via our E-Systems
• Assisting Radiographers during patient scans
• Making telephone bookings for patients attending our services

Qualifications

• Experience working in a clinical setting or healthcare environment
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good IT and administration skills
• Ability to understand and comply with radiation protection protocols
• Excellent patient care skills
• Attention to detail, flexibility, organisational skills and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and under pressure, meeting deadlines and turnaround times
