Cover Supervisor

We are seeking motivated Cover Supervisors to start in September, covering classes when teachers are absent. This is a term-time only role paid on a daily rate.

What will this Cover Supervisor position involve?

• Supervising classes during teacher absences to ensure continuity of learning
• Managing student behaviour and maintaining a positive classroom environment
• Following lesson plans and supporting students with independent work
• Reporting any issues to teaching staff and school leadership
• Supporting the wider school team as needed

About the Role

• Supervising lessons in a secondary school setting
• Ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for all students
• £130 – £140 per day – Term-Time Contract (Daily pay based on experience)
• September Start – Term Time Only – Full Time availability preferred
• Based in the London Borough of Wandsworth

About You

• Experience working with secondary school students preferred
• Confident and calm under pressure with strong classroom management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow lesson plans accurately
• A genuine interest in supporting young people’s learning and wellbeing
