16 Hour Customer Delivery Driver – Ammanford Superstore

• Fri 18:00-23:00
• Sat 13:00-23:00

Pay: starts from £14.18 an hour; increases to £15.45 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply.

We offer 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options for 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure van and trays are clean and organised
• Leave the back yard clean and clear of rubbish, picking up litter as seen
• Wash trays as part of the tray wash process
• Load the van and check roadworthiness
• Discuss order changes with customers and offer refunds if required
• Treat products/deliveries with care
• Explain substitution charges
• Deliver during the customer’s scheduled time slot
• Call the customer before arrival if early
• Call the store if running 30 minutes or more late

Qualifications

• Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit
• Provide warm and welcoming interactions with customers and colleagues
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change
• Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations
• Share improvement ideas with Manager and colleagues
• Hold a UK/EU/EEA full or automatic driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
• Able to adhere to GB Domestic Driving Rules
