THE ROLE
Deneco’s is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join its busy café team. This is a permanent part-time position, with hours typically ranging from 20–25 hours per week, depending on the time of year. The role is offered on a zero-hour contract and will involve a mixture of weekdays, weekends and holiday periods. Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, hospitality or customer service environment is preferred, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.
What You’ll be Doing
- Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming experience for every customer
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, desserts and food items
- Serving both eat-in and takeaway customers efficiently
- Operating the till and processing transactions accurately
- Assisting with food preparation and presentation
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and hygiene
- Replenishing stock and helping with stock control
- Working as part of a supportive team in a fast-paced environment
