About The Role
We are recruiting for a Baler Operative at our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This is a permanent, weekly-paid position, providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long-term growth opportunities within a thriving business.
- Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (07:00 – 19:00).
- Hourly Rate: £12.80 (paid weekly).
As an AMFRESH Baler Yard Operative, you will:
- Operate the baler safely and report faults promptly.
- Complete daily checks on bailing machine and monitor bailing wires.
- Ensure timely handling of cardboard and general waste.
- Maintain a clean, organised yard in line with site hygiene standards.
- Suppot the yard and operational teams to keep a safe working environment.
- Dispose waste correctly in accordance to site rules.
- Work outside in all weather conditions.
About You
To be a successful Baler Yard Operative, the qualities we are looking for are:
- Experience in a yard or similar environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong organistational skills.
- Drive and determination.
