Distinct are working with a financial services business with significant growth ambitions to help hire a Commercial Finance Manager to sit at the centre of how it plans, performs and makes decisions.
This is a proper business partnering role, you’ll be challenging performance, building business cases, leading forecasting and planning cycles, and generating insight that directly influences commercial decisions.
The business is in a growth phase with a clear multi-year agenda. This role has real influence over how that plays out.
What the role involves
- Commercial Finance partnering at senior level across the business
- Supporting and challenging multi-year financial planning and forecasting
- Building and reviewing business cases for strategic initiatives
- Providing insight and analysis that drives commercial recommendations
- Senior stakeholder engagement and relationship management
What we’re looking for
- Qualified accountant — CIMA preferred, ACA or ACCA considered
- 3–5 years post-qualified experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role
- Strong analytical capability with a track record of value creation
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Confident communicator able to simplify complex financials for non-finance audiences
