Sales Development Representative

Location: UK based | Hybrid/Remote Reporting to: Head of Partnerships Contract: Full time | Permanent

About the Company

Blüm Health is a fast-growing, clinician-led digital health software company founded by Clinicians and Software Engineers to break down the barriers to healthcare innovation. We design, build and deliver compliant, intelligent digital health products across the NHS and independent sector — working with NHS trusts, integrated care boards, private providers and health tech partners to solve some of the most pressing challenges in modern healthcare.

Our portfolio spans medicines analytics, remote monitoring, digital diagnostics, postnatal care, and AI-powered clinical tools. We are a SIFTED Top 10 Fastest Growing MedTech, a DOS7 framework supplier, and a proud participant in the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme and National Innovation Accelerator. We are a small, fast-moving team — and the work we do genuinely matters.

About the Role

This is a dual-function role sitting within our Partnerships team, working directly with and reporting to the Head of Partnerships. You will split your time between outbound sales development and marketing support, with the balance shaped by pipeline needs and commercial priorities at any given time.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a process. You will be expected to use your initiative, get things done, and operate with a level of independence from day one. The work is varied, the sector is complex, and the pace is fast. If you are genuinely interested in healthcare, health technology, or NHS transformation, you will find this an exceptional environment to develop.

Responsibilities

Sales Development

  • Identify and research prospective accounts across NHS trusts, integrated care boards, independent providers, and health tech organisations.
  • Build, maintain, and enrich large contact lists from sources including NHS public data, conference speaker lists, LinkedIn, and company websites — typically working with datasets of several hundred to several thousand contacts.
  • Use email finding tools (primarily FindyMail) to enrich contact records at scale, including bulk CSV uploads and individual lookups for hard-to-find NHS roles; run contacts against multiple domains (trust domain and nhs.net) to maximise hit rate.
  • Extract and structure data from web sources, including scraping speaker and delegate lists from conference and event websites where data is not available in a clean export format.
  • Cross-reference enriched lists against HubSpot to identify existing contacts, avoid duplication, and maintain data integrity across the pipeline.
  • Execute multi-touch outbound sequences via email and LinkedIn, with personalisation that reflects genuine understanding of the target audience and segment.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book discovery calls for the Head of Partnerships.
  • Maintain and update HubSpot with accurate contact, company, deal, and activity data — including adding new contacts, updating records, and flagging gaps in coverage.
  • Support bid and tender activity including DOS7 framework responses, writing support, and document preparation.
  • Support conference and event activity end-to-end, including building pre-event outreach lists, executing outreach, and managing post-event follow-up sequences.

Marketing Support

  • Draft and schedule LinkedIn content on behalf of Blüm Health and the Head of Partnerships.
  • Support the Head of Comms and Marketing with campaign assets, copy, and coordination.
  • Research industry events, speaking opportunities, and award submissions relevant to Blüm Health and its products.
  • Help maintain and improve sales collateral, one-pagers, and outreach templates.
  • Contribute to newsletter content, case study drafts, and sector-specific messaging.

Qualifications

  • Strong written communication skills — you can write clearly, naturally, and without corporate filler.
  • Genuine interest in healthcare, the NHS, or health technology.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own priorities.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and reliable with follow-through — a lot of this role lives in the quality of a spreadsheet.
  • Comfortable with large volumes of data — building lists, cleaning contacts, spotting gaps, keeping things tidy.
  • Confidence using LinkedIn as both a research and outreach tool.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools or willing to learn quickly (we use HubSpot).

Required Skills

  • Self-motivated, resilient, team-first; comfortable owning outcomes in a fast, high-agency environment.
  • Able to use initiative and operate with independence from day one — this is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a process.
  • Write and communicate in clear, honest, natural language; tailor messaging to clinical, operational and commercial audiences.
  • Take accountability, welcome diverse viewpoints, and bring structure and rigour to everything from a contact list to a tender response.
  • Care about outcomes — we are a clinician-founded company with no time for performance or politics. We move fast, we are direct with each other, and we expect the same in return.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a B2B sales, SDR, or business development role.
  • Familiarity with NHS structures, procurement routes, or digital health.
  • Experience with email finding or contact enrichment tools such as FindyMail, Apollo, Hunter, or similar.
  • Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets to clean, structure, and manage large contact datasets.
  • Experience extracting data from websites or working with unstructured data sources — even basic scraping or copy-paste-and-structure work counts.
  • HubSpot experience, or experience with any CRM at a data management level (not just logging calls).
  • Copywriting or content creation experience, even informally.
  • Exposure to bid or tender writing in a public sector context.

What we offer:

  • A role with genuine variety and real commercial responsibility from day one.
  • Direct access to and mentorship from an experienced Head of Partnerships.
  • Exposure to a broad portfolio of digital health products and NHS clients.
  • Hybrid/remote working with flexibility built in.
  • A small, ambitious team where your contributions are visible and valued.
  • Opportunity to grow into a more senior partnerships or marketing role as the business scales.

Equal Opportunity Statement

We believe in putting the best people together and empowering them to create, deliver and excel. We celebrate diversity of thought, backgrounds and perspectives and welcome applicants regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, national origin or disability. If you need reasonable adjustments at any stage, let us know.

Interview Process

  1. Intro (30 mins): Fit, motivations, what great looks like.
  2. Craft (45–60 mins): Practical exercise — e.g. building a target list segment and drafting an outreach sequence, or a short copy task.
