There are two opportunities available for Fashion Designers specialising in Women’s Tailoring, Wovens, and also Nightwear & Jersey to join.
These are exciting opportunities for talented womenswear designers with a strong understanding of the UK retail market to take ownership of seasonal collections from concept through to buyer-ready samples.
Working closely with the Director and international teams, you will play a key role in shaping innovative collections that resonate with leading retail partners and consumers alike.
✨ What You’ll Be Doing
• Research and interpret emerging fashion trends, consumer insights, fabrics, trims, colour palettes, and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with buying teams to translate briefs and UK market trends into commercially successful collections.
• Partner with the Director to develop seasonal direction, trend strategies, and category plans.
• Create inspiring seasonal concepts, trend presentations, and customer-specific design proposals.
• Design women’s tailoring, woven and denim collections including blazers, suits, trousers, shirts, dresses, skirts, and fashion separates
• Produce detailed CADs, technical packs, measurement specifications, and construction details.
• Source fabrics, trims, and washes in collaboration with suppliers while maintaining commercial cost targets.
• Lead sample development, fittings, and garment refinements to ensure exceptional quality and fit.
• Drive wash developments and woven product innovation to achieve the desired aesthetic and performance.
• Work cross-functionally with technical, development, merchandising, and sales teams to deliver product strategies.
• Manage critical paths and ensure timely delivery of buyer-ready samples across multiple seasonal launches.
• Ensure all products are commercially viable, production-ready, and aligned with customer expectations.
What We’re Looking For
• 6–8 years’ experience designing Womenswear for the mid-market fashion sector
• Previous experience working with UK retailers,
• Strong trend forecasting and market awareness, with the ability to translate insights into successful product ranges.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software.
• Excellent technical knowledge of garment construction and wash techniques.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with international suppliers, manufacturers, and cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility to travel when required.
