Electrical Control Engineer

Are you an experienced Controls Engineer looking to take the lead on complex, high-impact projects? We’re hiring a Senior or Principal Controls Engineer to join our growing Engineering client in Lincoln.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering cutting-edge control system retrofit and upgrade projects working across the full project lifecycle from concept through to commissioning

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior / Principal Controls Engineer, you’ll provide specialist expertise across:

• Control system design, PLC programming, and hardware manufacture
• Tendering, technical input, and customer engagement
• Testing, installation, and commissioning of systems
• Supporting continuous improvement and engineering excellence

Key Attributes:

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent)
• 5+ years’ experience with PLC-based control systems as an Electrical Controls Engineer, Applications Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer or similar.
• Strong background in commissioning and site installation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
