You will be part of a dynamic Learning & Development (L&D) team supporting a significant global change programme, gaining valuable exposure to strategic projects and senior stakeholders.

My client is seeking a bright, proactive, and confident L&D Assistant to support the delivery of a high-profile internal programme. This is a hands-on role offering excellent experience across coordination, administration, and event delivery within a professional services setting.

Working closely with the Global Head of L&D and Programme Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of initiatives, workshops, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal working group meetings, including scheduling, minute-taking, and distributing key actions and decisions
  • Support programme tracking and provide administrative assistance across multiple workstreams
  • Draft and distribute invitations to participants
  • Manage attendance tracking, follow-ups, and logistics including travel, accommodation, and dietary needs
  • Source venues and coordinate all event requirements
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external providers to confirm materials, participant details, and setup needs
  • Arrange accommodation, dinners, and group bookings including pre-orders
  • Attend events where required to provide on-the-ground support
  • Prepare and send communications such as joining instructions and pre-reading materials
  • Coordinate post-event follow-up sessions
  • Schedule workshops with internal teams and external consultants
  • Manage invitations, acceptances, and logistics (including Virtual meeting setup)
  • Circulate pre-work and relevant materials
  • Provide administrative support during sessions (e.g. breakout rooms, polls, chat management)
  • Distribute and collate feedback
  • Process and track invoices, ensuring approvals are in place
  • Maintain accurate cost tracking records

About You

  • Degree educated (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in an L&D or administrative role within a professional services environment
  • Strong experience coordinating events, both onsite and offsite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to use initiative with minimal supervision
  • A collaborative team player with a positive, flexible approach
