The Opportunity
A leading US firm is looking to add a Capital Markets Associate to its London team. This is a strong opportunity for an ECM lawyer who wants more than a narrow execution role, with exposure to listed company work, public M&A support and complex cross-border transactions.
The team works with major corporates, investment banks and other market participants on high-value matters across the London and international markets. For the right associate, the role offers quality work, close partner contact and the chance to develop into a more rounded capital markets lawyer.
The Role
You will be involved in:
- Advising on IPOs, placings, rights issues and other equity offerings
- Supporting on public M&A and listed company matters
- Advising on regulatory, governance and market practice issues
- Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents
- Working closely with clients and international teams on cross-border transactions
Requirements
- A qualified solicitor with around 2-4 years’ PQE in Capital Markets
- Experienced in ECM work within a strong London practice
- Technically strong, commercially minded and confident with drafting
- Comfortable working closely with clients and taking ownership of workstreams
- Proactive, detail-focused and committed to high-quality client service
