Freezer Warehouse Operative Weekly Pay – Booker Retail Partners

We are currently recruiting a Freezer Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team. This role involves working in a freezer environment to support the efficient picking, packing, and movement of goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
As a member of our warehouse team you will undertake challenging and rewarding work and play a pivotal role in ensuring we fulfil our customers’ needs.
OurBooker Retail Partnerssitein Didcot is a 245,000 sq ft, modern, multi-temperature food service site.
There is also great scope for training, development and progression within the company.
Successful candidates will be required to work 5 days per week between Sunday and Friday with shift hours of 06:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs (the early day shift) one week and 14:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs (the late day shift) the next week.
Limited positions available on the night shift 22:00hrs -06:00hrs
The picking, packing and loading of our customer food orders for delivery within a freezer environment.
Ensuring stock is handled and stored correctly.
Processing goods in effectively and efficiently
Performing stock checks as and when necessary
Replenishing the DC with goods in stock
Performing the necessary hygiene checks

A basic understanding of Health and Safety is essential, along with a good standard of literacy and numeracy skills.
The following are desirable, however, full training is provided regardless of prior experience:
- Ability to work in a freezer environment (full PPE provided)
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
- Previous warehouse or freezer experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- Reach Truck Experiece
- LLOP or PPT Experience
- Counterbalance truck licence/experience
- FLT Licence/experience
