In this role, you will engage deeplywithin enterprise organizations — partnering with technical andcommercial leaders to define and execute modern data strategies onAWS that unlock real business value.
You willbring together the full breadth of AWS’s data and analyticsportfolio — from data warehousing and lake architectures toreal-time streaming, search, and business intelligence — while alsoidentifying where complementary third-party partner solutionsstrengthen the overall platform. This isn’t about sellingindividual services; it’s about architecting the data foundationsthat enterprises need to compete in an AI-driven world. You willown the Customer’s Data Strategy and drive BusinessOutcomes.
Working in close partnership withour AI specialist, Database and Storage teams, you will helpcustomers connect their data investments directly to acceleratedbusiness outcomes — ensuring their platforms are built not just fortoday’s workloads, but for the agentic, AI-native future that israpidly taking shape. The pace of innovation is extraordinary, andour customers need trusted advisors who can help them navigate itwith clarity and conviction.

The IdealCandidate:
– Should be an experienced saleprofessional, comfortable in selling both new and maturetechnologies.– Possess a business background thatenables them to drive an engagement and interact with businesspersonas at the CxO/VP level.– Have a strongunderstanding of commercial trends in Analytics and bigdata.– Have a conceptual technical understanding thatenables them to easily earn trust with dataprofessionals– Has the ability to to build and conveycompelling value propositions – Serve as a key member ofthe account management team in helping to ensure commercial successin building data solutions on AWS.– Develop and delivercompelling presentations and discussions to drive awareness andadoption of Analytic solutions for Amazon WebServices.
Roles &Responsibilities:– Drive revenue growth in a definedterritory.– Meet or exceed annual targets.–Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territoryplan.– Develop working backwards analytics visionsincluding business case and financial justification, potentiallygleaned from earnings reports.– Create & articulatecompelling value propositions around AWS analyticsservices.– Accelerate customer adoption of Amazonanalytics services.– Deep sales and Advisory/consultingexperience, including some experience with large commercialcustomers.– Executive speaking and presentation skills –Formal presentations, white boarding, large and small grouppresentations is highly desired– Experience working withcloud and cloud based solutions is highlydesired.
BASICQUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in technology related sales,business development or equivalent– Experience withdirect field experience selling software or cloudsolutions– Experience selling to line-of-businessleaders and technology
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS
– Knowledge of AWS services–Track record of success driving adoption of disruptive technologieswithin enterprise accounts
