Your role
TheSCADATechnology & Solutions Lead owns the enterpriselevel direction forSCADAand IT/OT convergence within a consultancy and client advisory context. The role ensures thatSCADAand OTintegration solutionsare technically coherent, secure, scalable, and operationally fitforpurpose, aligned with enterprise digital transformation strategies, OT operating models, IT architecture, data, network, andcybersecuritypolicies. It establishes the architectural and design foundations required to enable sustainable OTtoIT integrationandcloudready, datadriven operational capabilities across multisite utility environments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead enterpriseSCADAand OT platform option assessments, defining futureready reference architectures across centralised, distributed, andhybrid deploymentmodels.
- Provide technical leadership across converged IT/OT domains, assuring alignment of requirements, architectures, standards, roadmaps, and business case inputs.
- Define and govern vendoragnosticSCADAand OT platform selection criteria, covering interoperability,lifecycle management, supportability, and futureproofing.
- Own and shape the Unified Namespace and standardisation approach, including asset models, naming conventions, signals, events, and metadata.
- Champion modern OTintegration patterns, enabling secure, scalable and eventdrivendata flowsbetween OT, enterprise, andcloudplatforms.
- Chair architectural andtechnical designreviews, managing key risks, assumptions, constraints, and decisions with clearauditability.
Your profile
Youll bring deep experience designing and delivering enterprisescaleSCADAarchitectures within water or utility environments, with a strong understanding of OT systems and practical IT/OT convergence. Youre comfortable working across complex, mixedvendor and legacy estates, shaping modernisation andmigration strategieswhile providing clear technical leadership and engaging confidently across operational, engineering, digital, network, and cyber teams.
