The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) teamis seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM)to join our team and lead the delivery of complex cloud solutionprojects. In this role you will combine technical expertise withstrong project leadership skills to drive successfulimplementations of AWS-based solutions for our clients. You willbridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitatingtechnical discussions and ensuring alignment with customeroutcomes. Applying AWS frameworks like Well-Architected and CloudAdoption Framework while demonstrating technical credibility acrossdiverse stakeholders, you will distill customer needs into cleartechnical requirements, decompose complex problems, and makeinformed trade-off decisions considering performance, scalability,security, and business impact.
Possessingstrong technology and program/project management experience, youwill validate technical solutions against business goals, recognizewhen additional technical evaluation is needed, and managetechnical risks. You will be expected to achieve and maintainrelevant AWS certifications, develop domain-specific expertise, andeffectively communicate technical concepts to both technical andbusiness audiences. As you progress, you’ll lead increasinglycomplex technical projects, shape cross-organizational technicalstrategies, and establish best practices in your domain. In thisrole you will apply your management and leadership capabilities tosuccessfully execute project plans, proactively identify and managerisks, resolve issues, escalate when appropriate, and driveprojects to successful completion, while exceeding customerexpectations.
The AWS Professional Servicesorganization is a global team of experts that help customersrealize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud.We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network(APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our teamprovides assistance through a collection of offerings which helpcustomers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloudadoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our globalspecialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions,technologies, and industries.

Keyjob responsibilitiesAs an experienced technologyprogram/project manager, you will be responsible for:
• Leading and managing complex cloudmigration and transformation projects/programmes from inception tocompletion• Ensuring successful delivery ofproject/programme outcomes within agreed time frames, budget andquality parameters• Developing and executingproject/programme level planning with the agility to adjuststrategies as necessary to meet evolving businessobjectives• Building and maintaining strong stakeholderrelationships across customers, partners and internal teams at alllevels• Driving key decisions and resolvingproject/programme level risks and issues• Establishingrobust governance model, project/programme structure andcommunication plan• Leading a multidisciplinary teams oftechnical specialists• Ensuring compliance withsecurity, regulatory and governance requirements•Bridging business requirements with technical solutions,facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment withcustomer business outcomes• Distilling customer needsinto clear technical requirements and map them to businessoutcomes

BASICQUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in leading and deliveringenterprise-level IT engagements– Knowledge of technologyprinciples and services including infrastructure, businessapplications, data management, security, application platforms, andconsumer-facing technology– Experience in leadingmultiple Agile teams (like Scrum Masters, Product Owners)concurrently or at scale
