Business Development Lead – Consultancy

A Business Development Lead with a strong technical background, experienced in Sales / Business Development within SatComs, Space technologies, Radar / Sensing or similar electronics environments, will bring their commercial sales experience to a thriving technical consultancy. This role bridges technical expertise with commercial strategy, culminating in developing opportunities and closing sales.

With a passion for cultivating strategic partnerships and business development through market commercialisation, you will bring both technical skills and business acumen ideally relating to consulting sales.

About you

  • A strong academic background with an Engineering or Physics Degree.
  • Extensive post‑graduate work experience with 5+ years in business development or commercial sales.
  • Experience within Space / Satellite technologies, Wireless Communications, Radar / Sensing / RF related industries highly beneficial.
  • Ability to understand customers’ strategic, commercial and technical challenges.
  • Proven experience establishing new business relationships, developing networks and building leads and sales pipelines.
  • Experience in the commercialisation of both technologies and products.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to deliver effective sales campaigns.
