Bridging Finance Solicitor

Our client based in Central London is seeking to add a Bridging Finance Solicitor ideally with 1+ years of experience to join their property team, though they will consider NQs. Long‑term prospects are available and flexibility is offered after probation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage caseload of residential and commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Review title documentation, searches, contracts and reports on title.
• Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other third parties.
• Ensure compliance with Anti‑Money Laundering and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate legal and transactional risks.
• Maintain accurate case‑management records and meet completion deadlines.

Bridging Finance Solicitor Experience to Include

• Draft and review loan agreements, debentures, personal guarantees and security documentation.
• Review titles, searches and valuations in line with lender requirements.
• Liaise with underwriters to satisfy pre‑loan conditions as part of bridging transactions.
• Advise clients and lenders on associated risks.
• Approach matters with a risk‑conscious and commercial view.
• Maintain excellent communication and visibility throughout the caseload.

Person Specification

• Solicitor admitted in England & Wales with at least 1 year of PQE.
• Commercial and strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Motivated to support and help grow a thriving practice.
• IT literate, proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet applications.
• Demonstrated commercial awareness and pro‑activity.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to convey clear and concise information.
