Overview

We are seeking a motivated and analytically strong AI Governance Analyst to join the team. This role will play a key part in operationalising safe and responsible AI use across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

AI Governance Delivery

  • Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of AI governance framework, standards and guidance.
  • Support the implementation of practical controls to ensure safe and responsible use of AI across the business.
  • Assist in embedding governance processes in day-to-day operations.

AI Intake and Risk Framework

  • Support the end-to-end lifecycle of AI use cases, including intake, triage, risk assessment, approval tracking and ongoing review.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather required information to ensure governance standards are applied.
  • Support ongoing refinement of workflows and frameworks, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies.
  • Help drive adoption of governance tooling across the organisation.

Reporting and Insights

  • Take ownership of regular reporting on AI use (sanctioned/unsanctioned), risk exposure, and governance activity.
  • Contribute materials prepared for governance forums and intranet sites.
  • Provide clear and practical guidance on governance requirements.

Regulatory Awareness

  • Maintain awareness of emerging AI regulatory developments that may impact the organisation.
  • Assist in updating internal frameworks and controls in response to regulatory change.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build effective working relationships with business, technology, risk, and legal teams.
  • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders submitting AI use cases.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Interest in AI, emerging technology, and risk/governance frameworks.
  • Ability to organise and manage multiple tasks in a structured way.
  • Experience in risk, compliance, data protection, or technology‑related roles.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts or technology governance, with an appetite to build practical skills in areas such as basic AI assistant development and automation.
  • Awareness of global AI regulatory developments (e.g. EU AI Act, UK, US frameworks).
  • Ability to translate complex information into practical, business‑friendly guidance.
