Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7) – Marlborough
Make a tangible impact on patient care at the frontline of medicines optimisation.
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary ward team, delivering a high‑quality, patient‑centred clinical pharmacy service to inpatients. You will work collaboratively with ward clinicians, practice pharmacy teams, GPs, and carers, to ensure the safe, effective, and cost‑effective use of medicines.
You will apply your clinical expertise to support evidence‑based prescribing decisions, optimise treatment outcomes, and enhance medicines safety. Additionally, you will contribute to seamless patient care across the wider healthcare pathway, supporting continuity and improving overall patient experience.
Working Hours & Location
This role is based at Savernake Community Hospital, providing high‑quality intermediate and inpatient care within a supportive and modern healthcare environment. The position is offered at 18.75 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient‑centred clinical pharmacy service to inpatients.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team to optimise medication therapy.
- Support evidence‑based prescribing decisions and improve medication safety.
- Contribute to continuity of patient care and enhance patient experience.
