This is a full-time (40 hrs) post based at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust Dermatology Department. The Dermatology Department at the Royal Free is a busy and dynamic unit that provides care both for the local population in North Central London and to a much larger network around North London, and the Home Counties.As dermatology clinical fellow you will be expected to look after patients with skin disease in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. You will work with a team of trainees and consultants.Applicants should hold MRCP or equivalent and should be registered with the GMC.
Main duties of the job
There is strong collaboration with the Departments of Medicine, Rheumatology, Oncology, Radiotherapy, Plastic Surgery, Paediatrics, Histopathology, Immunology and HIV / Infectious Diseases.

Person Specification
Education & Professional Qualification
- On the dermatology specialist registry (CCT or CESR registration) or proposed CCT date within 3 months of interview or has applied for CES
- Full registration with GMC (MRCP (UK) or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in minor dermatological surgery
- MD/PhD Degree
Experience
- Good knowledge of internal medicine
- Good knowledge of general dermatology
- In depth knowledge for the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers
- Good knowledge of complex skin cancer patients to run 2ww skin cancer clinics and manage follow ups
- Experience of cross-site working
- Melanoma Research Fellowship
- Publications in peer-reviewed dermatological journals
