The Beautiful Truth
The Beautiful Truth is looking for a highly organised, proactive Digital Content & Marketing Manager to support our editorial, marketing and brand activity across web, email, social, campaigns and content production.
This is a hands‑on role for someone mid‑level who is digitally confident, editorially minded and able to keep multiple pieces of work moving at once. We are looking for someone with strong project‑management skills, good editorial judgement, an eye for brand consistency and the ability to turn ideas into well‑executed content across different channels.
This role would suit someone who is as comfortable uploading and proofreading an article as they are building a newsletter, creating social content, updating a project tracker or helping coordinate a campaign.
Main responsibilities
The role will include:
- Managing and updating The Beautiful Truth website, including uploading new content and keeping pages current.
- Planning, building and sending newsletters, including The Edit and the monthly TBT newsletter.
- Creating and scheduling social media content for Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Supporting digital campaigns and promotional activity, including events, livestreams, podcasts and new editorial content.
- Helping manage editorial and production workflows, including tracking article progress, liaising with contributors, editors, sub‑editors and designers, and supporting deadlines.
- Supporting podcast production and promotion, including tracking episode status and coordinating content across web, newsletter and social.
- Creating or sourcing digital assets and images, and helping to keep templates, folders and systems organised.
- Producing regular reporting and insights to help the team understand what is working and where to focus next.
About you
You will be organised, reliable and proactive, with experience in digital marketing, content marketing, editorial production or brand communications. You will be comfortable working across websites, newsletters, social media, shared folders and project trackers, and confident writing, editing and adapting copy for different channels.
You do not need to be very senior, but this is not an entry‑level role. We need someone who can come in confidently, pick things up quickly, manage detail well and act as a trusted pair of hands across a small creative team.
You will probably enjoy this role if you:
- Like thoughtful editorial content and care about language, tone and detail.
- Are highly organised and good at keeping projects moving.
- Can switch between creative work and practical admin.
- Are confident using digital tools and learning new systems.
- Enjoy working in a small team where everyone is hands‑on.
Details
This could be a fixed‑term, freelance or part‑time role, depending on the right person.
The role can be partly remote, but we are looking for someone who is London‑based or able to work from our East London office at least one day a week. Indicative full‑time equivalent salary: £30,000–£35,000, depending on experience.
