- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Automation Engineer (Rollers Shutters & Doors) to join a growing and dynamic organisation operating across social housing and commercial sectors. This field‑based role offers a varied workload including reactive repairs, planned maintenance, servicing, and installation of automated access systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of automatic doors, gates, and barriers while delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend reactive call‑outs and diagnose faults efficiently.
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on automated systems.
- Install automatic doors, gates, and barriers to required standards.
- Conduct site surveys and system inspections.
- Complete accurate job reports and service documentation.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and industry regulations.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records, including timesheets and job information.
- Participate in an on‑call rota and overtime opportunities when required.
Skills & Experience Required
- ADSA or ADIA accreditation.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with automatic doors, gates, or related automation systems.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Flexible and proactive approach to work.
