Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

£13.50 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience). Overtime available (weekends paid at 1.5x). Temporary to Permanent. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 07:15 – 17:00.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality outdoor maintenance and enjoys leading and motivating a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Grass cutting and lawn care
• Shrub bed maintenance
• Shrub and hedge pruning
• Weed control and herbicide application
• Litter picking
• Using a PDA to plan, record and monitor service delivery

Leadership Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and guide on‑site teams to achieve high‑quality results
• Ensure daily and weekly productivity and quality targets are met
• Maintain all work to company/client specifications
• Communicate professionally with clients and residents
• Complete compliance paperwork and digital documentation
• Ensure safe working practices and correct PPE usage in line with Health & Safety legislation

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ Grounds Maintenance experience (required)
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
