Civil Enforcement Officer (Ref: CEO)

Salary: Up to £31,324.80 p.a.

Responsibilities

• Keep Broxbourne’s streets safe by enforcing parking regulations.
• Ensure the safety of children near schools and provide unrestricted access to emergency vehicles.
• Improve access to disabled bays and local facilities for less mobile residents.
• Enforce on‑street and off‑street parking contraventions and manage Council pay‑and‑display car parks.
• Maximise parking availability and enhance safety throughout the Borough.

Qualifications

• Manual driving licence.
• Standard DBS check.
• Strong people skills and ability to handle challenging situations.
• Good team player with basic computer skills.
• Prepared to work in all weather conditions on a flexible rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
