Finishing Manager – New Build Housing

£250 per day (CIS/Ltd considered)

O’Neill & Brennan are currently seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to join a well-established residential developer on a new build housing development near Paignton, Devon.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with a strong eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality homes to a high standard ahead of customer handovers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the finishing stages of multiple plots through to completion.
- Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring works are completed to the required standard.
- Working closely with site management teams and subcontractors to drive quality and programme.
- Producing and managing snagging lists.
- Ensuring defects are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Maintaining excellent standards of health, safety and housekeeping across site.
- Supporting customer care and handover requirements where necessary.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Finishing Manager on new build housing developments.
- Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and residential quality requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality homes.
- Proactive approach with a willingness to spend time out on site engaging with subcontractors and monitoring workmanship.
- Ability to manage multiple plots at varying stages of completion.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- SMSTS or SSSTS preferred.
- First Aid qualification advantageous.
This role is offering £250 per day with a minimum 2-month contract, with the potential for extension depending on programme requirements.
