Position

Care Assistant for a teenager in Leeds – F/T £12.71/hr.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to a teenager with Autism and a PDA profile, engaging him in activities such as board games and Dungeons & Dragons.
• Assist with cooking activities.
• Support as needed after his morning paper‑round, particularly in the evenings.
• Help maintain a positive and engaging environment for the teenager (no personal care required).

Availability & Hours

Term‑time: 6 hours per week, flexible in split shifts. Hours do not need to be used as one continuous shift. Possibility to discuss reduced hours if 6 is too many.

Weekends: support requested, but schedule can be discussed.

Holidays: 10 hours available, some already used by another PA. Availability may increase depending on the relationship built.

The role also involves working around a house with a dog and chickens. The teenager is physically independent.
