HGV Mechanic

Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a well‑established industrial business based in Kirkcaldy on a full‑time permanent basis, with a salary of up to 45,000 per annum.

Our client operates a busy facility with a fleet of HGV vehicles requiring ongoing maintenance within a heavy industrial environment, offering stable, long‑term employment for the right candidate.

What’s on offer?

• Full‑time permanent position
• Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
• 38 000 to 45 000 per annum dependent on experience
• Very occasional back shift and weekend cover required

As an HGV Mechanic, your duties will include:

• Carrying out regular servicing and preventative maintenance across a range of makes and models
• Responding to and resolving breakdown situations efficiently
• Maintaining accurate service, maintenance and compliance records
• Ensuring all work meets relevant safety standards

To be considered as an HGV Mechanic, you will need:

• A minimum of 3 years experience working on HGV units and trailers
• A valid UK driving licence
• Strong communication skills and a reliable, professional approach to work
